It's not only athletically built young men in running shoes and shorts who are masters of sprint. The designers of 3W Graphics, people who have as little to do with sport as you can imagine, can do it too. Here's a recent example: in just 4 (four!) days we created 2 promotion movies for one of the biggest Russian financial institutions - MDM Bank. Long summer days spent under the warm monitor rays. Sleepless nights full of thinking. The site editor needed a month to decide that this part will no longer be updated weekly - instead of writing a boring work history we will inform you of sensational events only. Events such as this one: we have upgraded most of our casino games. Within the Flash 6 (MX) technology we have been able to reduce the games' file size by approximately a quarter. [08/23/2002]
Up until now, it has been common knowledge that joysticks exist only to eliminate enemy forces and crack nuts. This widely popular, yet false opinion, has been finally put an end to. We have finished developing program modules that make it possible to control our casino games with a joystick. A group of 3W Graphics employees will be going to Greece on Sunday to deliver the project to the client on site. [07/26/2002]
At the end of the third week of July, the hallways of the business center where the offices of 3W Graphics are situated, were filled with a quiet, yet exciting sound. That was a sound produced by many voices, and many things - satisfaction, amazement and anticipation of a bonus - all came together in that sound. We have finished the creation of a new slot machine model - 5 reel and 5 line. In as little as 5 or 6 days, after a series of tests, it will be appear in 3WG casino. The design department of 3W Graphics sometimes happens to work not only on large, impressive projects, but also on miniscule computer "icons". Regardless of how small they may seem, they also require a great deal of work and talent. Last week, as part of an offline casino development project for a Greek client, we redesigned the entire card deck, to be used in the casino management system. There aren't many masters of miniature nowadays, but there are still some. [07/12/2002]
Most Internet casinos look like energetic ladies looking for a candidate for second husband - bright makeup, an open low-cut dress, and a vast array of gold jewelry. At times it looks seductive, at times - simply sleazy. When 3W Graphics' designers started developing the www.casino-well.com gaming portal, they took a different approach - the site was to look rather like an expensive cognac bottle label. The client approved the sketch, so now there is a lot of work ahead of us. [07/05/2002]
See, all it takes is a bunch of pictures of cute girls, some nice buttons and frames, a little more time than planned - and here it is, 3W Graphics' site - version 3. In the time that the site hasn't been updated, we developed a package of 15 websites for a large Russian industrial group (under an NDA agreement), lost our "dot com" domain name, and accumulated a lot of power for new creative achievements. We have no illusions about ourselves - we are sure you'll be able to last a month or two without our news. We no it'll be difficult - after all, nothing can substitute the style, hype and suspense of weekly work reports. But as one movie hero said : "I am a surgeon. Working for the good of the Internet sometime causes side effects: you start feeling a spider sitting in the center of the World Wide Web - not a predator, with his multiple feet over the skulls of the slaughtered flies, but a nice little spider with an ugly head full of wonderful ideas... Here at 3W Graphics we have 3 good old traditions. First - wrestle bears at least once a week, second - try to always eat something when drinking, and third - start the year by working on the Moscow-based Forex Club Company's site. In 1999 they were our first client, in 2001 the first edition of their website has fulfilled its duty and we redesigned it completely, and we are starting the year 2002 by creating the English version of Forex Club's site.
